In 2002, we put our passion for the planet and decades of experience in apparel manufacturing behind the creation of the bgreen apparel brand, our first NatureUSA label. Our Mission was simple: offer quality organic apparel that look good, fit comfortably and leave the world a better place.
Our family has been involved in textile manufacturing for three generations. Our company’s commitment to quality, social & environmental responsibility has enabled us to produce apparel for some of the best known brands such as Patagonia. By using less water, less energy and local manufacturing we have reduced our carbon footprint.
As citizens of the planet, we believe it is everyone’s responsibility to protect and preserve our natural resources for this generation and many more to come. And, with the support of a growing number of conscious consumers, we intend to continue to do our part.
In 2008, our entire production process from fiber to finished garment was GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards) certified. We are currently working on a new type of certification with a broader focus to be completed by December 2012. While our factory is regularly audited for fair-labor compliance, we are in process of acquiring our own fair-labor certification as well.
